Coal Creek Spring Cleaning Day organized by the Coal Creek Scholars at Anderson County High School and sponsored by the Coal Creek Watershed Foundation |
WHEN: |

WHERE: |
Meet at 9:30 a.m. at Briceville Elementary School to sign in, get trash bags and gloves, and receive assignments. Briceville School is located 4 miles southwest of Lake City on Highway 116. After picking up the trash, meet at noon at Briceville Ball Park for refreshments and prizes for those who pick up the most trash. |
WHY: |
Beneath all the trash, the Coal Creek watershed is as beautiful as any place on earth. |
HOW: |
Volunteer to help pick up the trash and prove it. We'll clean up the area between Briceville and Beech Grove and maybe that will motivate folks to clean up their streets and stop throwing out trash! |
